Message from Beth Hrychuk – Change of Ownership – March 15, 2022

I have owned and operated Landsong Heritage Consulting Ltd. for the past 24 years (1998 – 2022). Today, I am happy to announce that Landsong has been purchased by Dunne-za Ventures Limited Partnership (LP). Dunne-za Ventures LP is a partnership between Dunne-za Economic Development Corporation (the general partner) and West Moberly First Nations (the limited partner). Both Dunne-za Economic Development Corporation and Dunne-za Ventures LP are wholly owned by West Moberly First Nations. This corporate structure separates community politics from the day-to-day operations of the company.

Going forward, I will oversee Landsong’s office and field operations as Chief Operating Officer. The entire Landsong Team will continue to work in their current positions. Together, we will deliver heritage services across British Columbia, advocate for Indigenous involvement in archaeology, facilitate community-led traditional and cultural land use studies and work for the protection of cultural and ecological resources. We remain as dedicated as ever to upholding our corporate values: Safety, Resect, Quality, Integrity & Innovation.

Starting today, Landsong will proudly call itself Indigenous-owned. This is the legacy for Landsong that I have always hoped for. It is with gratitude, enthusiasm and harmony that we welcome Dunne-za Ventures LP and West Moberly First Nations as our new owners. We look forward to the years ahead.

Please reach out if you have any questions.

Kind Regards,
Beth
